230423 La littérature fantastique (S) (WiSe 2023/2024)

Plus que tout autre genre littéraire, le fantastique joue avec les idées, les attentes et parfois les peurs de ses destinataires - la confusion et l'incertitude (narratives mais aussi ontologiques) font partie de ses caractéristiques principales. Dans le cadre du séminaire, nous tenterons de déterminer analytiquement les stratégies et les méthodes à l'aide desquelles cette confusion est obtenue, en faisant également appel à des modèles théoriques centraux (Todorov, Caillois, Durst, Cortázar). Le travail de séminaire se concentrera toutefois sur l'analyse de textes francophones qui font partie du corpus classique de la littérature fantastique, comme les récits "Le Horla" (Maupassant), "La Cafetière" (Gaultier) ou "La Vénus d'Ille" (Prosper Mérimée) - pour ne citer que quelques exemples.
L'accent sera également mis sur la question de savoir comment intégrer l'étude des textes du fantastique dans l'enseignement scolaire des langues étrangères.

Le cours est donné en français, une maîtrise solide de la langue française (niveau B2 minimum) est donc requise.
