Neue und neueste Musik erfahren und sie in Vermittlungskontexte zu überführen, steht im Mittelpunkt dieser Veranstaltung mit Exkursion zu den Donaueschinger Musiktagen 2023 (Do., 19. bis So., 22. Oktober 2023). Die Donaueschinger Musiktage sind seit 1921 das älteste Festival für Neue Musik.
Die Veranstaltung geht neuen experimentellen Formen auf dem Gebiet aktueller Musik und Klangkunst nach und bereitet die Exkursion zu den Musiktagen im Oktober vor.

The binding module descriptions contain further information, including specifications on the "types of assignments" students need to complete. In cases where a module description mentions more than one kind of assignment, the respective member of the teaching staff will decide which task(s) they assign the students.
Studienleistung: Als Studienleistungen sind vorgesehen: Referate und Übungsaufgaben (ggf. in der Gruppe) zu Neuer und neuester Musik allgemein, sowohl im Vorbereitungsseminar als auch während der Exkursion. Ein konkreter Bezug zu den aufgeführten Werken bei den Donaueschinger Musiktagen 2023 (Do., 19. bis So., 22. Oktober 2023) ist ausdrücklich erwünscht. Voraussichtlich ab Juli 2023 wird ein konkretes Programm vorliegen.
Bei Teilnahme an der Exkursion sollte das Referat einen Umfang von ca. 20 Minuten haben, bei Nicht-Teilnahme an der Exkursion soll eine schriftliche Ausarbeitung im Umfang von ca. 15.000 Zeichen zu einem abgesprochenen Thema angefertigt und spätestens zum Semesterende abgegeben werden.
