Embedded systems have increasingly powerful microcontrollers, which allow the execution of complex applications on mobile systems (e.g. robots, wearables). The aim of the project is to match the performance of the microcontroller with the requirements of the software application on the basis of a model and thus to improve the performance of the application. The appropriate level of abstraction can range from the functional level down to individual instructions.
In case the proposal would not attract enough students for a team project, it can be adapted into a project for two students (tandem project).
