220019 Medien und Propaganda im Nationalsozialismus 1933-1945 (S) (WiSe 2013/2014)

Contents, comment

Die umfassende Kontrolle der Medien und die Mobilisierung der Bevölkerung durch Propaganda waren zentrale Charakeristika der nationalsozialistischen Herrschaft. Im Seminar werden Rolle, Bedeutung und Grenzen von Propaganda im Rahmen der NS-Herrschaft diskutiert. Gleichzeitig führt das Seminar exemplarisch in die Perspektiven und Methoden der Kommunikationsgeschichte ein. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit kommt dem Umgang mit verschiedenen Quellensorten (Bilder, Plakate, Film, Zeitungen, etc.) zu.
