Die Zahlentheorie nimmt unter den mathematischen Disziplinen eine ähnlich idealisierte Stellung ein wie die Mathematik selbst unter den anderen Naturwisschenschaften. (Jürgen Neukirch)

Wir werden in dieser Veranstaltung sowohl die Grundlagen, als auch einige Höhepunkte der Zahlentheorie kennenlernen, wie etwa den Dirichletschen Einheitensatz.

Diese Veranstaltung ist die erste einer Spezialisierungssequenz (Themenbereich Algebra).

Requirements for participation, required level

Benötigte Vorkenntnisse sind Grundlagen über Gruppen, Ringe und Körper, sowie Galoistheorie (in etwa Algebra I).
