Inhaltlich steht die Einführung in die gesetzlichen Grundlagen und die Strukturen und Institutionen der drei zentralen Handlungsfelder der Kinder- und Jugendhilfe in Deutschland im Mittelpunkt: Kita, Jugendarbeit und Hilfen zur Erziehung. Historische Aspekte dieser drei zentralen Handlungsfelder werden ebenso wie aktuelle Diskurse beleuchtet. Die Diskussion von Texten zu verschiedenen Aspekten der Jugendhilfe ist in Kleingruppen geplant.

Studienleistungen: Mitarbeit in einer selbst gewählten themenspezifischen Kleingruppe + schriftliche Zusammenfassung eines Textes zum Thema und der Diskussion mit den anderen Kleingruppenmitgliedern
Prüfungsleistungen: mündliche Prüfungsleistungen, schriftliche Prüfungsleistungen in Form von Hausarbeiten möglich (Näheres dazu im Seminar).
