220125 Die nationalsozialistischen Bewegungen in Deutschland und den Niederlanden, 1920‐1940 (K) (SoSe 2023)

Die Idee einer homogenen "Volksgemeinschaft", die es gegen vermeintliche innere und äußere Feinde zu schützen gilt, war ein zentraler Antrieb der nationalsozialistischen Bewegung und ihrer breiten gesellschaftlichen Akzeptanz in Deutschland. Sie hat in der NS-Zeit zu staatlich und gesellschaftlich organisierter Ausgrenzung, Terror und genozidaler Massengewalt geführt. In ungleich schwächerer Ausprägung, aber mit durchaus vergleichbaren Prämissen, fand diese Bewegung auch in anderen Ländern Anklang und zugleich eine eigene Formung. Am Beispiel der nationalsozialistischen Bewegung in den Niederlanden sollen die nationalen Eigenheiten und transnationalen Wechselbeziehungen der nationalsozialistischen Weltanschauung eruiert werden. Zudem wird sich die LV eingehend mit den Konsequenzen für die in der Folge als Minderheiten definierten und verfolgten gesellschaftlichen Gruppen und Individuen sowie die Rolle der sog. Mehrheitsgesellschaften befassen.
