Im Seminar sollen zunächst die grundlegenden Begriffe von Kindheit/generationale Ordnung, Sorge/care und Organisation/Institution geklärt werden. Dabei wird eine erziehungswissenschaftliche Perspektive eingenommen. Danach soll sich mit einer Verknüpfung dieser Konzepte beschäftigt werden. Dafür soll der Fokus auf wohlfahrtsstaatliche (Bildungs-)Institutionen gelegt werden. Wie wird wohlfahrtsstaatlich die Lebensphase Kindheit organisiert? Welche Rolle spielt Sorge (ums Wohl der Kinder) für diese Organisation? Inwiefern ist Sorge in die generationale Ordnung eingeschrieben? Inwiefern bedingt wohlfahrtsstaatliche Organisation von Sorge das Aufwachsen von Kindern und die Beschaffenheit von Kindheit? Diesen Fragen werden wir uns theoretisch und anhand aktueller Forschung nähern.
