Die christliche Kirche mit Johan Baptist Metz als "Erinnerungs- und Erzählgemeinschaft" zu bezeichnen, heißt, die zentrale Rolle zu würdigen, die Erzählungen für die Begründung und die Gestaltung des Glaubens spielen. Die theologische Diskussion hat dies unter dem Stichwort 'narrative Theologie' aufgegriffen - ein Ansatz, der unter Berücksichtigung philosophischer, psychologischer und soziologischer Beiträge vertieft und präzisiert werden kann. Die Konsequenz wäre, Religionspädagogik als 'narrative Religionspädagogik' zu entwerfen und zu gestalten. ReligionslehrerInnen sollen zu ErzählerInnen werden.
In diesem Seminar sollen nicht nur die theoretischen Grundlagen und Begründungen für das Erzählen diskutiert werden, sondern auch praktische Erzählübungen durchgeführt werden (denn Erzählen gehört zu den Schlüsselqualifikationen von ReligionslehrerInnen!).
