Historisches Lernen im Setting von Schulen ist ein in enge Korsetts struktureller und
situativer Kontexte eingeschnürter und mit hohen gesellschaftlichen Erfolgserwartungen
versehener gesellschaftlicher Anspruch an schulische Bildung. Geschichtsunterricht in
Schulen ist, gemessen an diesen Erwartungen und den Kenntnissen und Kompetenzen
der Schulabsolventen, vor allem eins: erfolglos. Im Rahmen diese Seminars wird vor
diesem Hintergrund der Versuch unternommen, die Vorbereitung von
Geschichtsunterricht an explizite didaktisch, methodische Entscheidungs- und
Rekonstruktionsprozesse zu orientieren. Auf diese Weise werden zugleich ausgewählte
fachdidaktische Ansätze im Hinblick auf ihre Leistungsmerkmale für die
Unterrichtsvorbereitung untersucht.
