Prosody is the study of intonation, tempo, and phrasing above the level of syllables. In this course, we will discuss the following topics:
1. What is prosody?
2. How to carry out prosodic & phonetic analysis
3. How to analyze the prosody of different languageThe course is planned as discussion sessions where I teach how to analyze a phenomenon and practical sessions where students will practice analyses under my guidance.
