Schulsozialarbeit stellt ein interessantes Arbeitsfeld dar, das nicht nur im Kontext von Ganztagsschulen zunehmend an Bedeutung gewinnt. Im Seminar wird es darum gehen, die Geschichte der Schulsozialarbeit aufzuarbeiten, um so die Entwicklung einer "Sozialen Arbeit an Schule" bis in die Gegenwart hinein nachzeichnen zu können. Dabei stehen Fragen des "Professionsverständnisses" von Schul- und Sozialpädagogik ebenso im Zentrum, wie die rechtlichen Rahmenbedingungen und aktuellen Aufgabenzuschreibungen.

Die regelmäßige Teilnahme an den ausgewiesenen Sitzungen wird als verbindlich vorausgesetzt. Die Bescheinigung einer Studienleistung/ Aktiven Teilnahme erfolgt durch die Gestaltung bzw. Bearbeitung einzelner Seminarschwerpunkte in Teams bzw. Kleingruppen mit abschließender Präsentation der Ergebnisse im Plenum. Benotete Einzelleistungen bzw. Modulprüfungen (BiWiStudierende) sind nur möglich über eine themenbezogene schriftliche (Haus-) Arbeit im Umfang von 8 - 10 Seiten p. P
