Antifeminismus, die Ideologie zur organisierten Bekämpfung von Feminismus, ist - historisch betrachtet - keine Neuigkeit. Beim Blick zurück in vergangene gesellschaftliche Auseinandersetzungen, tauchen antifeministische Strömungen als wiederkehrende oder dauerhaft schwelende Phänomene auf. Eine historische Auswahl dieser Phänomene wird uns im Lauf des Seminars Grundlage der Diskussion sein, bei der nicht nur en passant feministischen Positionen eine Rolle spielen werden.
Ziel des Seminars ist es, mittels der historischen und soziologischen Perspektiven auf das vorgestellte Themenfeld die analytischen Fertigkeiten der Seminarteilnehmenden weiter zu entwickeln.
