Das Seminar führt in die Erstellung einer Fallstudie ein und begleitet die TN inhaltlich bei der Entwicklung einer Fragestellung für abgesprochene Themenkomplexe. Fallstudien entfalten ihre Substanz in einem sozialen Verständnisprozess; der Umgang mit Fällen soll das Erkennen und Verstehen fördern. Dazu ist Bereitschaft zur Kleingruppenarbeit ebenso erforderlich wie zur exemplarischen Analyse der schulpraktischen Situation. Die einzelnen Fallstudien werden bei ihrer konzeptionellen Entwicklung und Durchführung begleitet. Die Praxisphase zur Fallstudie kann individuell zeitlich angesiedelt werden.

Das Begleitseminar zur Fallstudie schließt an das Seminar "Grundschuldidaktik: Bedingungen und Kozepte des Unterrichtens und Erziehens" inhaltlich an. Studierende, die im WS 06/07 am Seminar Grundschuldidaktik teilgenommen und die eine Absprache zur Erstellung ihrer Fallstudie getroffen haben, erhalten bevorzugt Zugang zum Begleitseminar. Es ist aber auch für andere Studierende geöffnet ist, die ihre Fallstudie in diesem inhaltlichen Kontext ansiedeln wollen.
