Das Tagespraktikum findet in der Grundschule Landsberger Straße statt. (Grundschule Landsberger Straße, Landsberger Straße 19, 32049 Herford). Die Schule versteht sich als Familienschule im Stadtteil. Die Schülerinnen und Schüler stammen zu 70 Prozent aus sozial schwachen Familien, 60 Prozent der Kinder haben einen Migrationshintergrund. Mit dem Umbau der Schulgebäude veränderte sich auch die Unterrichts- bzw. pädagogische Praxis. Die Studierenden haben die Möglichkeit am Unterricht einer Ganztagsklasse teilzunehmen. Dabei machen sie erste praktische Erfahrung im Bereich der Differenzierung und Förderung von Schülern im Unterricht. Im Verlauf des Praktikums wird gemeinsam eine Unterrichtseinheit entwickelt, die von den Studierenden eigenständig umgesetzt wird.
Am Wochenende vor Semesterbeginn findet ein Blockseminar statt. Der genaue Termin dafür wird noch bekannt gegeben.Prakikum in der Schule, jeweils 7.55 - 11.40 Uhr
