Was hat der Klimawandel mit Rassismus, Kolonialismus, Patriarchat, Klassismus & Ableismus zu tun? Was ist Umweltrassismus und wie äußert er sich in Deutschland? Welche Bedeutung hat Klimagerechtigkeit im Kampf gegen den Klimawandel? Kann man den Klimawandel effektiv bekämpfen ohne Klimagerechtigkeit zu beachten?
Diesen Fragen und noch vielen mehr möchten wir in der Studiengruppe Raum geben. Dazu werden wir uns in der ersten Semesterhälfte damit beschäftigen, was Klimagerechtigkeit ist und was Klima(un)gerechtigkeit in der Praxis bedeutet. In der zweiten Hälfte wollen wir dann den Themen nachgehen, die die Gruppe interessiert. Dies kann vom Generationenkonflikt oder kolonialistischen Strukturen im Klimaschutz über die Betrachtung von Geo-Engineering und anderen aktuellen Klimaschutz-Hoffnungen & -Entwicklungen unter der Linse der Klimagerechtigkeit bis hin zu Protestformen oder konkretem Aktivismus gehen.
Bei der Veranstaltung handelt es sich um eine studentisch organisierte Lehrveranstaltung.
