Das Seminar A „Telemedizin“ ist ein Teil der Veranstaltung „Vertiefung E-Health“ (Modul 12). In diesem Seminar werden die erlernten Grundlagen zum Bereich "eHealth und Telemedizin" in Richtung der Akzeptanzentwicklung bei unterschiedlichen Nutzergruppen weiter entwickelt. Bisher haben telemedizinische Leistungen in Deutschland Projektcharakter. Entscheidend für die weitere Entwicklung des Einsatzes der Telemedizin im Gesundheitswesen sind die sog. „Adoption“ im Sinne einer Einstellungsbildung bis zum ersten Anwendungszeitpunkt sowie die Akzeptanz der Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien als Betrachtung des Prozesses der anschließenden Nutzung und der daran anknüpfenden positiven Annahmeentscheidung. Studien zeigen, dass "Wissen" sowol bei der Zielgruppe der Ärztinnen und Ärzte als auch auf Seiten der PratientInnen eine entscheidende Variabel ist. Ziel der Veranstaltung ist es auf Grundlage der aktuellen Entwicklung zur Telemedizin in Deutschland und dem aktuellen Stand der Akzeptanzforschung unterschiedliche Interventionen, Maßnahmen und zielgruppenspezifische Bildungsangebote zu konzipieren.
