Nachdem Grundlagen des Verständnisses von Sprache als soziale Praxis erarbeitet wurden, wird dieses Verständnis weiter vertieft, indem Sprache im Zusammenhang mit Migration, Integrationsdiskurs, eigener Positionierung sowie Macht im Kontext der Integrationskurse in Deutschland diskutiert wird.
In diesem Seminar wird also der DaZ-Unterricht als sozial angesiedelte und in Machverhältnisse verstrickte Praxis erfasst. Zentral ist dabei die Frage, mit welchen Herausforderungen man in diesem Zusammenhang als DaZ-Lehrende (sowie als Forschende im Bereich DaZ) konfrontiert wird und wie diese zu meistern sind. Meine These ist, dass DaZ-Lehrende eine tiefe Verinnerlichung der sozialen Verankerung von Sprache brauchen, um sich kritisch-reflexiv in gesellschaftlichen Diskursen positionieren und in pädagogisch schwierigen Situationen professionell handeln zu können.
