250189 Kindheit und Medien: Von Prinzessin Lillifee bis zum iPad (S) (SoSe 2013)

Im Seminar "Kindheit und Medien" setzen sich die Studierenden mit der medialen Prägung der Alltagswelt von Kindern, Medienwirkungen und der Medienerziehung von Kindern auseinander. Fragen, die wir im Seminar zu beantworten suchen, sind:
-Was für eine Bedeutung haben mediale Figuren bzw. Medienhelden für Kinder? Inwiefern hängt dies mit den Entwicklungsaufgaben von Kindern zusammen?
-Inwiefern verändert sich die Mediennutzung von Kindern durch die zunehmende Verbreitung von Smartphones und Tablet PCs?
-Wie erleben Kinder Werbung in den Medien?
-Welche Aufgaben kommen unterschiedlichen Sozialisationsinstanzen wie Elternhaus, Kindergarten und Schule für die Medienerziehung von Kindern zu und wie definieren diese Instanzen ihr eigenen Verantwortungsbereich?
Im Seminar sollen sowohl theoretische Grundlagen zur Beziehung von Kindheit und Medien behandelt als auch empirische Forschungsergebnisse und "Kindermedien" betrachtet werden.
