This course will connect the theoretical background of literature, media and intercultural learning with the practical side of teaching. We will focus on materials (e.g. books, films and realia), and we will consider appropriate teaching methods and activities for young learners of EFL in primary school.
Students will also be encouraged to compare the approaches of different textbooks to teaching specific aspects (e.g. cultural studies, festivals and special days, school in the UK).
