Der Kurs "Formale Methoden der Linguistik 2" ist eine Pflichtveranstaltung im Linguistik-Curriculum, wendet sich aber genereller auch an Studierende, die an den logischen Grundlagen und formalen Methoden der Linguistik interessiert sind. Ziel der Veranstaltung ist es, einen Einblick in Probleme der Wissenschaftslogik zu geben, sowie den Umgang mit linguistisch relevanten Theorien und Methoden der Logik einzuüben. Dabei wird besonderes Gewicht auf das Verständnis und die eigenständige praktische Handhabung der Methoden gelegt.
Themen der Veranstaltung sind: Sprachtheorie, Syntax und Semantik von Logiksprachen, Folgerung und Schlussregeln, relevante Argumentationshandlungen.
