Die Umbildung unserer Gesellschaft zu einer Informations- und Wissensgesellschaft verlangt nach veränderten schulischen Lern- und Lehrprozessen.
Schule wird nicht mehr primär die Aufgabe zugeschrieben, feste Wissensbestände zu vermitteln, sondern den Lernenden Möglichkeiten der selbstständigen Aneignung von Wissen an die Hand zu geben. Der Sachunterricht bietet zur Entwicklung und Verwendung von Methoden besonders günstige Bedingungen, wobei Zielsetzung der Erwerb von Methodenkompetenz ist, die der Erreichung eines Ziels dient und damit an bedeutsame Inhalte gebunden ist.
In diesem Seminar geht es vor allem um eine Auseinanderssetzung mit diesem Thema im Zusammenhang mit dem gesellschaftswissenschaften Lernbereich des Sachunterrichts.
