Angelehnt an aktuelle Forschungsgebiete des Lehrstuhls Chemische Ökologie werden eigenständige experimentelle Projekte unter individueller Betreuung und Einbindung in die Arbeitsgruppe bearbeitet. Mögliche Themengebiete sind Einflüsse von UV-Strahlung auf Pflanzen-Insekten-Wechselwirkungen, Entgiftung pflanzlicher Naturstoffe durch Insekten, Wirtsfindung bei herbivoren Insekten, Pflanzen-Insekten-Wechselwirkungen auf invasiven Pflanzenarten. Neben der Erarbeitung des entsprechenden Wissens soll hier die Methodik der Planung, Durchführung und Auswertung wissenschaftlicher Experimente erlernt werden. Abschlussbericht mit Referat.
