In diesem Blockpraktikum werden grundlegende Methoden der modernen Genomforschung bei Prokaryoten behandelt und angewendet. Es werden die verschiedenen Gebiete der strukturellen Genomforschung abgedeckt (Hochdurchsatz-Sequenzierung, Erstellung von Contigs, genomische Sequenzierung sowie Annotation). Die Experimente konzentrieren sich auf die DNA-Array-Technologien (z.B. Transcriptomics) und Proteomics. Neben der Analyse der experimentellen Daten mit Hilfe von Werkzeugen der Bioinformatik sollen allgemeine bioinformatische Konzepte und ihre Anwendung behandelt werden. Voraussetzung für dieses Blockpraktikum ist ein Basisblock aus den Bereichen f oder g. [Lf: n; 50: n; Fs: n]
