Die Studierenden werden verschiedenen Projekten des OZHB zugeordnet. Hier sollen sie je nach Projekt verschiedene Aufgaben innerhalb des eLearning-Angebots übernehmen, um auf die wachsenden Anforderungen an Lehrkräfte in diesem Bereich vorbereitet zu werden. Dabei sollen beispielsweise Online-Module und die damit verbundenen interaktiven Inhalte (Videos, digitale Arbeitsblätter usw.) entwickelt werden. Das nötige Knowhow und die technische Ausstattung werden dabei von den Betreuer:innen zur Verfügung gestellt. Im Vorfeld der Veranstaltung werden die eingetragenen Studierenden über das EKVV angeschrieben und in die verschiedenen Gruppen eingeteilt und den Betreuer*innen zugeordnet.
Um neben den konzeptionellen Fähigkeiten der Studierenden auch den praktischen Bezug in der aktuellen Lage nicht zu verlieren, sollen sie darüber hinaus an Online-Workshop-Angeboten des OZHB mitwirken. Dabei sollen die Studierenden vorgefertigte Lehreinheiten eigenständig durchführen und reflektieren.
