230099 Deutsches Filmexil in Hollywood 1933-1950 (S) (WiSe 2005/2006)

Von den etwa zweitausend deutschen Filmschaffenden aller Filmberufe, die 1933 von den Nationalsozialisten aus rassistischen und politischen Gründen verfolgt und ins Exil getrieben wurden, kamen zwischen 1933 und 1942 ca. achthundert in die amerikanische Filmmetropole Hollywood. Ihre Karrieren und ihr Beitrag zum amerikanischen Film soll an ausgewählten Beispielen untersucht werden.
Teilnahmebedingung: Von jedem Teilnehmer wird die Bereitschaft zur Übernahme eines Referats und eines Protokolls erwartet.
Vergabe der Referate/Protokolle auch in den Feriensprechstunden (siehe Aushang) möglich.
