In Auseinandersetzung mit aktuellen Ergebnissen der Leseforschung wird der Begriff: Lesekompetenz entwickelt und auf das unterrichtliche Aufgabenfeld bezogen. Zentrale, diagnostische Fragestellungen sind: Was ist überhaupt Lesen und Lesekompetenz? Wie lässt sich der Lern- und Entwicklungsstand einschätzen und dieses Wissen in fördernde Maßnahmen umsetzen? Das Seminar beinhaltet den Umgang und die Durchführung ausgewählter lesediagnostischer Verfahren (im Raum Bielefeld), die anschließend unter einer didaktischen Perspektive ausgewertet werden. Orientiert an Förderplanung werden Ableitungenfür die Leseförderung getroffen.
Das Seminar bietet die Möglichkeit zur Erstellung einer Fallstudie.
