In der Veranstaltung werden Grundkenntnisse der französischen Literaturwissenschaft vermittelt. Dazu gehören zunächst grundlegende methodische Konzepte und Ansätze der Literaturwissenschaft mit ihren zentralen Fragestellungen. Mithilfe dieser Herangehensweisen werden einzelne, exemplarische Texte der französischen Literaturgeschichte gelesen. Diese Lektüren dienen der Einübung der wissenschaftlichen Literaturanalyse. Sie haben zugleich den Zweck, dass sich die Seminarteilnehmer*innen in wichtige Themen der Französistik einarbeiten. Auf Modulebene verpflichtend ist die Teilnahme an dem Tutorium zur französischen Literaturwissenschaft. Das Seminar wird im kommenden Sommersemester in der Übung zur französischen Literaturwissenschaft fortgeführt.
