Diese Veranstaltung bietet grundlegende Kenntnisse über Struktur, Stabilität und Reaktivität der Übergangsmetallkomplexen mit besonderem Schwerpunkt auf deren Anwendungen in der Katalyse an.

Struktur und Bindung katalytisch relevanter Metalkomplexe
Liganden: Ligandentypen, σ/ π-Hinbindung, ηx-Haptiziät etc.
M–M Bindung (M = Metall)
M–L Mehrfach Bindung (L = Ligand)
M–C Bindung: Type und Eigenschaften
Stabilität und Reaktivität: 18-Elektronenregel, Isolobale Beziehungen
Katalyse mit Übergangsmetall-Komplexen
Katalysatortypen, Grundbegriffe (STY, TON, TOF etc.)
Reaktionen-Mechanismen
Katalytische Zyklen
Aktivität und Selektivität (Chemo-, Regio-, Diastereo- und Enantio-Selektivität) und Steuerung
Anwendung von Katalysatoren in der Industrie: Fischer-Tropsch-Synthese, Olefin-Metathese, Shell Higher
