300203 Einführung in die Intersektionalitätsforschung (S) (SoSe 2014)

In der vergangenen Dekade wurde „Intersektionalität“ bei der Analyse von sozialen Ungleichheiten zu einer der wichtigsten paradigmatischen Leitorientierungen der Sozialwissenschaften. Im Lichte dieses Paradigmas werden nicht nur die „Aufaddierung“, sondern insbesondere die Verwobenheit und das wechselseitige sich-Bedingen der drei Ungleichheitskategorien „race, class andgender“ analysiert. Auch weitere Kategorien – z.B. Alter – werden daraufhin untersucht, inwiefern sie für die jeweils betrachteten Gesellschaften eine konstitutive Ungleichheitskategorie darstellen.
In dem Seminar werden wir uns nach einer theoretischen Einführung in die Intersektionalitätsforschung mit verschiedenen intersektionellen Studien befassen.
