Die method class beschäftigt sich mit methodologischen Begründungen und Strategien der Generalisierung in der qualitativen Sozialforschung. Es werden verschiedene Texte zur Verallgemeinerung sowie zur Bildung von Typen und Typiken diskutiert. Außerdem wird die Gelegenheit geboten, empirisches Material der Teilnehmenden gemeinsam auszuwerten und generalisierende Verfahren konkret zu erörtern.
