Unser Verständnis von Gesundheit/Krankheit und gesunden/kranken Körpern ist heute von den modernen Biowissenschaften geprägt. Wer oder was in einer Gesellschaft als gesund oder krank gilt, ist zudem oftmals Gegenstand normativer Diskurse und Praktiken. In diesem Seminar nehmen wir Zusammenwirken von Geschlechterkonstruktionen und Gesundheit am Beispiel von chronischen und akuten somatischen und psychischen Erkrankungen sowie vielfältigen Geschlechtsidentitäten in den Blick.
Bei diesem Seminar handelt es sich um ein Vertiefungsseminar, d.h. es werden Grundkenntnisse der Geschlechtersoziologie vorausgesetzt (z.B. durch den vorherigen Besuch einer anderen Lehrveranstaltung im Fachmodul „Geschlechterforschung und Geschlechterverhältnisse“).
