392170 Projekt "Entwicklung einer Server/Client Kommunikationsinfrastruktur für einen verteilten FPGA-Rechencluster" (Pj) (WiSe 2012/2013)

Im Rahmen des Projekts soll eine C++-basierte Inter-Process-Communication (IPC)-Infrastruktur geschaffen werden, um einen FPGA-Rechencluster mit bis zu 64 FPGAs (Field Programmable Gate
Array) über ein Netzwerk verwalten zu können. Der Aufgabenbereich umfasst die Analyse und Evaluation von verschiedenen IPC-Protokollen für die Kommunikation zwischen Client und Server (z.B. JSON-RPC über HTTP), die Erweiterung einer vorhandenen C++-Software-Bibliothek um ein
Server/Client Konzept sowie die Einrichtung eines Webservers.

Requirements for participation, required level

Grundkenntnisse einer Programmiersprache wie C/C++ oder Java.
Kenntnisse von Netzwerkprotokollen und Erfahrungen bei der Einrichtung
eines Webservers sind vorteilhaft, aber nicht erforderlich.
