Die Veranstaltung findet parallel zu den schulpraktischen Studien der Teilnehmer in den Semesterferien statt und verfolgt den Zweck, die eigenen Unterrichtsplanungen der Teilnehmer unter Berücksichtigung der erworbenen allgemeinen fachdidaktischen Kenntnisse und der lerngruppenspezifischen Voraussetzungen zu konkretisieren.
Das Seminar bietet Gelegenheit, sich über eigene Unterrichtserfahrungen auszutauschen sowie die die Gelegenheit, eigene Unterrichtsplanungen zur Diskussion zu stellen und gegebenenfalls Planungsschwierigkeiten zu beheben.

Voraussetzung für die Vergabe von 2 Leistungspunkten (Bachelor Einschreibung bis SoSe 11 und Master of Education) ist die regelmäßige und aktive Teilnahme sowie das Erbringen einer unbenoteten Einzelleistung. Die unbenotete Einzelleistung wird durch einen Praktikumsbericht erbracht, der die Planung und Reflexion einer selbst gehaltenen Unterrichtsstunde enthält.
