Das Seminar zielt darauf ab, Studierende der Erziehungswissenschaften grundlegendes theoretisches Wissen und praktische Kompetenzen für die Beratung von Frauen nach Erfahrungen häuslicher und sexualisierter (innerfamilärer) Gewalt zu vermitteln. Formen, Folgen und Erklärungsansätze zu Ursachen von Gewalt, gesetzliche Grundlagen und Polizeirichtlinien, die Bedeutung von Vernetzung als Voraussetzung für die Gestaltung effektiver Intervention und Unterstützung werden als Basis von Beratungsarbeit in die Erarbeitung des Themas mit einbezogen. In Kleingruppenarbeit und praxisbezogenen Übungen soll eine Annäherung und Selbstreflexion der eigenen Haltung in Hinblick auf Beratung von Frauen nach Gewalterfahrung erfolgen und eine beraterische Grundhaltung eingeübt werden.
