Die Arbeit in und mit Gruppen ist elementarer Bestandteil der praktischen wie theoretischen Pädagogik. In diesem Seminar wird historisch und systematisch die sozialpsychologische Theorie der Gruppe anhand einzelner Theoretiker erörtert. Vorgestellt werden verschiedene Ansätze der gruppendynamischen Arbeit in der Pädagogik: Gruppenanalyse, T-Gruppen/Sensitivitätstraining, Gruppenarbeit im Rahmen der Freizeitpädagogik, Supervision, Balint-Gruppen. Zusätzlich wird die phänomenologische Gestalt für das Verstehen von Gruppenprozessen in Forschung und Praxis erarbeitet.

Studierende des DSE können einen Leistungsnachweis durch den Beitrag in einer Referatsgruppe (mit Thesenpapier und Ausarbeitung), durch eine Hausarbeit oder durch die erfolgreiche Teilnahme an der Klausur erwerben. Studierende des Masterstudienganges erhalten für den Beitrag in der Referatsgruppe (mit Thesenpapier) oder die Teilnahme an der Klausur eine aktive Teilnahme/ Studienleistung.
