Nach einem Rückblick auf die Anfänge der Frauen- und Geschlechterforschung, in denen das interdisziplinäre Selbstverständnis eine wichtige Rolle spielte, gibt das Seminar einen Überblick über aktuelle Diskussionen zur Inter- und Transdisziplinarität in der Wissenschaftsforschung wie in der Geschlechterforschung und gibt Gelegenheit zur Anwendung und Erprobung an ausgewählten Fragestellungen und Problemen.
Die Studierenden erwerben Kompetenzen im Umgang mit inter- und transdisziplinären Fragestellungen und Problemen und lernen verschiedene Konzepte von Inter- und Transdisziplinarität kennen.
