Ziel des Moduls ist es, die Studierenden mit dem Gebiet E-Health vertraut zu machen. Es werden aktuelle und zukunftweisende Anwendungsgebiete der Gesundheitstelematik vorgestellt und kritisch diskutiert. Dazu werden u. a. die zum Verständnis von gesundheitstelematischen Anwendungen notwendigen Telekommunikations- und Informatikgrundlagen sowie die dabei zu beachtenden ethischen und rechtlichen Aspekte vermittelt.
Inhaltlich konzentriert sich die Veranstaltung zunächst auf telemedizinische Anwendungsbereiche und im weiteren Verlauf auf Gesundheitskommunikation via Internet. Die Studierenden erlernen an praktischen Beispielen insbesondere die Grundregeln der Bedarfsanalyse, der zielgruppenspezifischen Informationsaufbereitung (Wissensund Informationsmanagement) und der Bewertung von vorhandenen Gesundheitsinformationen.
Lehrinhalten
• Grundlagen von E-Health (Anwendungsgebiete, bildgebende Verfahren, Bildverarbeitung, Datenübertragung, Datenbanken, Datenintegration und ihre Probleme, Qualitätskriterien, Kontrollmöglichkeiten, rechtliche und ethische Aspekte)
• Methodik und Didaktik der Informationsaufbereitung (Mängel- und Zielgruppenanalyse, grundlegende Darstellungsregeln)
• Bewertung von vorhandenen Gesundheitsinformationen im Internet (formelle und inhaltliche Bewertungskriterien).
