In dieser Übung trainieren wir Handschriftenmodelle mit der Plattform Transkribus (https://readcoop.eu/transkribus) und lernen darüber Grundlagen des paläographischen und editorischen Arbeitens kennen. Konkret werden wir uns mit der englischen Kanzleischrift des Spätmittelalters beschäftigen, wofür wir ein brauchbares Modell trainieren, das zur automatischen Transkription von Dokumenten für die korpuslinguistische Analyse genutzt werden kann.
