Ausgehend von der Thematisierung der mathematischen Struktur von Größenbereichen werden im Seminar die in der Grundschule relevanten Größenbereiche Längen, Gewichte, Hohlmaße, Zeit(spannen) und Geldwerte ausführlich in Bezug auf die folgenden Aspekte behandelt:
-Vorkenntnisse / Bestimmung des Lernstands und seiner Entwicklung
-Spezielle Struktur des Größenbereichs (Umrechnungen)
-Aufbau von Stützpunktvorstellungen
Die Gestaltung des Unterrichts zum Thema „Größen und Messen“ in heterogenen Lerngruppen und diesbezügliche Diagnose- und Förderkonzepte – auch mit Blick auf Kinder mit sonderpädagogischem Förderbedarf – zieht sich als durchgehender Strang durch alle Seminarsitzungen. In den Blick genommen werden dabei sowohl individuelle Denk- und Lernprozesse von Kindern als auch die Gestaltung inklusiver Lehr-/Lernprozesse für die gesamte Lerngruppe. Dies geschieht u.a. durch die Analyse von Schüler¬dokumenten und Videos, durch die Diskussion von Interventionsstrategien und die Analyse von Schulbuch-Aufgaben und Lernmaterialien.
