Spätestens seit den 1970er Jahren haben sich auf den Feldern der Energie- und Klimapolitik Problemkontexte herausgebildet, die zunehmend im globalen Maßstab thematisiert werden. Beispiele hierfür sind Fragen der internationalen Energiesicherheit, der Herausbildung globaler Energiemärkte, einer friedlichen Nutzung der Kernenergie, aber auch des anthropogenen Klimawandels. In der Veranstaltung wird diskutiert, in welcher Weise sich diese Prozesse in politischen Institutionen wiederspiegeln und welche Spannungsfelder sich dabei zwischen politischen, ökonomischen und wissenschaftlichen Formen von Rationalität erkennen lassen.
Darüber hinaus geht die Veranstaltung der Frage nach, inwieweit sich die Bedingungen für kollektiv bindendes Entscheiden für diese Regulierungsfelder angesichts der Herausbildung globaler Märkte und Risiken verändern und welche Folgeprobleme dies für das politische System aufwirft.Blockveranstaltung:
