Format: Präsenz
Wir wollen uns im Rahmen des Blockseminars gemeinsam Grundlagen der Gender-Theorie von ihren Anfängen bis heute erarbeiten. Dabei sollen nicht nur theoretische Überlegungen miteinbezogen werden, sondern auch wegweisende literarische und feministische, politische und gesellschaftskritische Texte betrachtet werden: Von Mary Wollstonecrafts 'A Vindication of the Rights of Women' ('Die Verteidigung der Frauenrechte') (1792), Sojourner Truths berühmter Rede 'Ain’t I a Woman?' von 1851, über Simone de Beauvoirs 'Das andere Geschlecht' (1949) bis Judith Butlers grundlegend gewordenem Werk 'Gender Trouble' ('Das Unbehagen der Geschlechter') (1990) und den Aktualisierungen dieser Überlegungen wollen wir die Entwicklung der Gender-Theorie in historischer Linie mit ihren Argumenten nachzeichnen und in die Forschungsgegenwart überführen.
(Hinweis: Wir werden manche der Texte in englischer Originalsprache lesen.)Die Platzvergabe erfolgt zentral über das eKVV-Management spätestens bis zum 14.10.2021. Bis zur tatsächlichen Vergabe haben alle Studierenden Status „nicht teilnehmend“, wovon Sie sich nicht irritieren lassen sollten.
Ein organisatorisches Vortreffen findet am 21.01.2022, von 14-16 Uhr statt (ebenfalls in Präsenz). Bitte planen Sie diesen Termin ein!
