360028 Lektüre mystischer und spiritueller Texte des Christentums (S) (SoSe 2012)

Thomas von Kempens ‚Nachfolge Christi‘ war ein Bestseller. Ebenso die ‚Aufrichtigen Erzählungen eines russischen Pilgers‘, die in die Tradition des Herz-Jesu-Gebets einführen. Auch Martin Luthers ‚Eine einfältige Weise zu beten‘ oder die Schriften der Wüstenväter eröffnen einen Schatz an spiritueller und mystischer Erfahrung. Im Seminar werden Ausschnitte aus spirituellen und mystischen Texten unterschiedlichster Provenienz gemeinsam gelesen, besprochen und diskutiert werden. Es wird die regelmäßige Lektüre der Texte vorausgesetzt, ebenso wie die Bereitschaft sich darüber hinaus in unterschiedliche Epochen und Ereigniszusammenhänge einzuarbeiten.
