In der Vorlesung sollen verschiedene Aspekte der angewandten Mathematik, u.a. die Grundzüge der Graphentheorie sowie einige Verbindungen zur Stochastik (Theorie der Markov-Ketten, probabilistische Methode), behandelt werden.
