-> [vÓlƏ] = <Wolle>Die hier angeführten Beispiele zeigen, wie stark der Faktor Zeit auf die lautliche Verfasstheit einer Sprache wirken kann. Hierbei verändert der Lautwandel nicht nur einzelne Wörter sondern das gesamte Lautsystem einer Sprache und wirkt auch in andere Bereiche als der Phonetik und Phonologie hinein.
In diesem Seminar sollen zusammen mit dem Lautwandel selbst sowohl seine Ursachen, als auch seine Wirkungen auf andere Bereiche des Sprachsystems Gegenstand sein. Hierbei werden wir neben den allgemeinen Prinzipien des Sprachwandels auch die artikulatorischen und akustischen Grundlagen des Lautwandels unter die Lupe nehmen. Abschließend wird die diachrone Dynamik zwischen der Phonetik und Phonologie und der Morphosyntax erörtert.
