Im Projektseminar "Linguistische Korpora" erhalten Studierende die Möglichkeit, das Arbeiten mit linguistischen Daten (textuell oder multimodal) zu erlernen. Die Projektarbeit gewährt einen Einblick in die angewandte Computerlinguistik und Texttechnologie in diesem Bereich mit unter anderem den folgenden Unterbereichen:
- die Sammlung linguistischer Rohdaten (inkl. rechtlichen Fragen),
- die Annotation mit Hilfe standardisierter Auszeichnungssprachen und Werkzeuge,
- die Speicherung und Verarbeitung linguistisch annotierter Korpora (inkl. Abfragen und Transformationen) mittels verschiedener texttechnologischer Methoden.
Mögliche Projektarbeiten der Teilnehmer sind in den oben angegebenen Arbeitsbereichen und darüber hinaus in der (Weiter-)Entwicklung von Werkzeugen (Programmierung) anzusiedeln. Eine Ausarbeitung in Bezug auf eine Abschlussarbeit ist möglich.
