Im Zentrum der Veranstaltung steht die statistische Datenanalyse.
Im Rahmen des Seminars werden die wichtigsten bivariaten Verfahren sowohl mathematisch-theoretisch und als auch in ihrer praktischen Anwendung vorgestellt. Bei diesen Verfahren handelt es sich um Analyseprozeduren, in denen zwei Variablen gemeinsam analysiert werden, um ihre Zusammenhänge aufzudecken.
Da die teilweise aufwendigen Berechnungen bei der Durchführung dieser Verfahren ohne Computeruterstützung kaum möglich sind, werden wir parallel zu den statistischen und mathematischen Hintergründen der einzelnen Verfahren auch ihre Umsetzung mit Hilfe des Programmpaketes SPSS kennenlernen. Selbstverständlich wird auch in diesem Kurs auf die Interpretation der Analyseergebnisse und ihre Darstellung in Wort und Bild eingegangen.
