In jeder Sitzung wird eine die Unterrichtsreihe zu einem bestimmten Gegenstand aus der Obligatorik des Kernlehrplans NRW Gymnasium Sek. I vom Dozenten vor- und zur Diskussion gestellt. Entsprechende Schulbuchkapitel werden zum Vergleich herangezogen und die Schlüsselaspekte der Reihenplanung diskutiert.

Die Studienleistung besteht in der Planungsskizze einer Reihe zu einem Gegenstand aus der Obligatorik des Kernlehrplans NRW Gymnasium Sek. I. Die Gegenstände werden in einer der ersten Sitzungen verteilt und das Ergebnis in den letzten beiden Seminarsitzung vorgestellt. Die Skizze richtet sich nach Form und Umfang nach den in den übrigen Seminarsitzungen vorgestellten Reihen.
