Die Veranstaltung findet für alle Teilnehmenden in Präsenz statt.
Begrenzungen und Zwischenräume, Leerräume und Innenräume: innerhalb des Seminars wird das Thema Raum in vielen Facetten praktisch und theoretisch im Mittelpunkt stehen. Verschiedene Materialien werden experimentell erprobt, Verhältnisse von Form und Inhalt, Form und Umraum, Form und Betrachter reflektiert.
Die Beschäftigung mit Originalen ermöglicht theoretische Einblicke in die Bildhauerei des 20. Jahrhunderts. Bestandteil des Seminars sind Kurzreferate zu ausgewählten plastischen Arbeiten bzw. zu unterschiedlichen künstlerischen Positionen in der Bildhauerei.
Im Transkript verbucht werden kann die Veranstaltungen erst, wenn das Modul als Ganzes mit bestandener Modulprüfung abgeschlossen ist.
Das Seminar Gestalten Raum wird in jedem Semester angeboten. Die Anzahl der Arbeitsplätze ist auf 12 begrenzt. Sollten sich mehr Studierende anmelden, haben die höheren Semester bei der Platzvorgabe Vorrang, und die im Fach Studierenden werden vor den Studierenden der Individuellen Ergänzung berücksichtigt.
