270138 Wahrnehmung und Kognition: Vertiefung (S) (WiSe 2021/2022)

Grundlage des Seminars ist das Lehrbuch "Cognitive Psychology" von Quinlan und Dyson (2008). Die einzelnen Kapitel des Buches behandeln wichtige Themen der Wahrnehmungs- und Kognitionspsychologie mit einem stark konzeptorientierten Ansatz. Zu jedem Termin soll ein Kapitel behandelt werden. Die 16 Kapitel decken unter anderem grundlegende Theorien, Konzepte und Kontroversen ab ("Foundations", "Information processing and nature of the mind", "An introduction to peception"), verschiedene Themen der Wahrnehmungspsychologie ("Mental representation", "Masking, thresholds and consciousness", "Visual Processes") und der Kognitionspsychologie ("Memory", "Attentional constraints and performance limitations", "Object recogniton", "Memory", "Reasoning", "Cognition and Emotion").

Durch jede Sitzung führt eine Studierendengruppe von 3 Personen, unterstützt durch den Veranstalter. Die Studierendengruppe präsentiert die Inhalte der einzelnen Kapitel und leitet die Beteiligung der Teilnehmer.

Die Seminarteilnehmer arbeiten in Kleingruppen zu 2-3 Personen. Sie bereiten den Text vor und planen die Behandlung im Seminar. Sie leiten die Seminarsitzung, stellen die Arbeit vor und organisieren die Diskussion.
